About
Bruce Saxton founded The Saxton Group in 1989 with the vision of fostering integrity in the business world. The Saxton Group consulting practice has helped over 100 organizations break down systemic and relational barriers that limit the external success of the company as well as the personal joy and purpose of its employees.
We help organizations define and develop their vision or ‘executive intention,’ working with leadership, to put structures and systems in place that will further that intention throughout the company. Bruce Saxton’s extraordinary ability to draw out the genius of an organization and help the executives put that genius into practice stems from a unique combination of professional expertise.
One of the primary influences driving his consulting work includes a rural Midwest upbringing and time spent as a missionary and later as an ordained Quaker minister who counseled individuals and couples, developed drug abuse programs, and worked in prisons.
The equally, if not stronger, influence on Bruce Saxton’s approach to coaching and consulting was his study of Dr. W. Edwards Deming’s teachings including the theory of profound knowledge, cooperation in the workplace, and Deming’s famous 14 Points management guidelines.
In addition to the teachings of Dr. Deming, Bruce has gained a great deal of insight as a tenured leader of The Landmark Forum, where he leads seminars that have a life-altering impact on those in attendance.
His background creates the foundation for his approach. However, his consulting work grows out of the unique situational needs and the specific challenges facing each of his diverse clients.
